Blood tests
Do you need a blood test?
A blood test can reflect what is happening in the body and can be used, among other things, to provide an assessment of your current health condition. In addition, blood tests can provide an assessment of your risk of lifestyle diseases, such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease, and an explanation of any symptoms.
During the consultation, our doctors can advise you on whether a blood test is needed and which blood test profile would be optimal for you. We will follow up with blood test results and advice if needed.

How a blood sample is taken
When you come for a blood test, your arm will first be disinfected, and then a thin needle will be gently inserted into your vein. You will feel a small prick that will quickly pass. When the blood is drawn, the needle is removed and a small plaster is applied.
After this, your sample will be labeled and sent for analysis. The whole thing only takes a few minutes, and you can usually go home right after.
If you don't like needles, just tell our staff – we will make sure you can lie down and are safe and comfortable throughout the blood test.
