Anemia blood test

Professionally updated: January 27, 2026

Anemia does not mean a low amount of blood in the body, but rather a deficiency in the components of the blood that are responsible for oxygen transport. Without enough oxygen, you may experience general weakness, fatigue, shortness of breath, and muscle fatigue, especially when climbing stairs. This blood test package includes a complete count of the blood's formed elements, which can help identify the cause of your fatigue.
