After your booking, you will receive a confirmation with a link to the official form (part 1). Fill it out carefully, especially regarding previous illnesses, medications, and vaccinations, and upload it via our secure portal no later than 24 hours before the consultation.
The doctor reviews your questionnaire and asks clarifying questions about cardiovascular disease, lung function, musculoskeletal issues, mental resilience, and any previous exposure to smoke/chemicals. The conversation lasts approximately 10-15 minutes and forms the basis for the physical part.
Height, weight, BMI, waist measurement, as well as blood pressure and resting heart rate

Musculoskeletal system (back, shoulders, hips, knees) to assess lifting and carrying capacity
Vision test (visual acuity and color vision) and audiometry to ensure that you can distinguish signals and alarm tones

The doctor summarizes the results. If further investigations are required (e.g. X-ray, exercise ECG), you will receive a clear plan of action.
Once the certificate is completed, it will be securely sent to the authority that requested it. You will also receive a copy.

The requirement for a health certificate is stipulated in Danish law. Specifically, the emergency services are responsible for ensuring that all operational employees meet § 48 of Law No. 912 of 2 October 2000 (Emergency Services Act) and § 27, para. 1 of Order No. 41 of 21 January 1998.
