Blood tests
Do you need a blood test?
A blood test can reflect what is happening in your body and can be used to assess your current state of health. In addition, blood tests can provide an assessment of your risk of lifestyle diseases, such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease, and an explanation for any symptoms.
During the consultation, our doctors can advise you on whether a blood test is needed and which blood test profile would be optimal for you. We will follow up with blood test results and advice if needed.

How a blood sample collection works
When you come in for blood sampling, you will first have your arm disinfected and a thin needle will be inserted into your vein. You will feel a small prick, which is quickly over. Once the blood is drawn, the needle is removed and a small patch is applied.
Your sample is then labeled and sent for analysis. It all takes just a few minutes and you can usually go home straight afterwards.
If you don't like needles, just let our staff know - we'll make sure you can lie down and feel safe and comfortable throughout the blood draw.
