The risk of lead poisoning

The risk of lead poisoning is not limited to the workplace. Lead can also be found in the air or water in certain areas. During renovations, old paint containing lead can be encountered, and hunters still use ammunition containing lead. Hobbies such as glass and jewelry making, as well as glazing ceramics, can also lead to lead exposure. Additionally, older toys may contain lead. For these reasons, blood tests to measure lead levels may also be relevant for private individuals.
