Rabies vaccine

Professionally updated: April 11, 2024

We offer vaccination against rabies, a serious viral infection that is primarily transmitted to humans through bites from infected animals such as dogs, bats, and other wild animals. Rabies is almost always fatal once symptoms appear, making preventative vaccination extremely important, especially for those traveling to areas where rabies is more common.

About rabies vaccination

The rabies vaccine is designed to give you protection by preparing your immune system to recognize and fight the rabies virus should you be exposed to it. By getting vaccinated, you significantly reduce your risk of developing the disease if you are bitten or scratched by an infected animal.

Vaccination is especially recommended for travelers to countries with a high risk of rabies, people who work with animals, and those living in or visiting remote areas where access to medical care may be limited. It's also a good idea for adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts planning activities in nature where there is a risk of contact with wild animals.

Arranging a rabies vaccination appointment with us is simple and an important part of your travel preparation or work with animals. The vaccine is both safe and effective, and we're here to guide you through the vaccination process and answer any questions you may have.
